The great thing about the Giottos P Pod is that there are no addition expenses like a ball head or quick release. These are included and built into the Giottos P Pod.
Features
Quick Release and 2-way fluid head:
Its integral quick release pan head allows the camera to be instantly attached and detached. Releasing the tilt lock allows 180 degrees of panning movement, while the 2 Way Head permits a full 90 degree of vertical rotation allowing rapid and controlled change from portrait to landscape mode.
Tripod:
Withdrawing the three accessory feet and fitting them to the mounting points in the foot turns the monopod into a free-standing tripod.
Multi-Monopod:
Take two accessory feet, screw them on the mounting points on the neck for low angle position photography.
Accessory feet storage:
Accessory feet store in the column. Simply unscrewing the rubber foot reveals the convenient storage compartment for the accessory feet.
Foam Grip:
The grip area is foam covered to prevent cold in winter or sweat in summer and a non slip comfortable grip year around.
Rubber covered leg locks:
The locking mechanisms have large rubber coated twist type controls with smooth actions. The tension is adjustable, so there is no fear of collapse like with clip type locking models.
Aircraft Grade Aluminum:
